Breathe Easy, Drive Hard
Your factory exhaust is built for noise limits, not performance. A quality aftermarket exhaust improves airflow, reduces back pressure, and helps your engine run cooler and more efficiently — especially when towing or pushing hard off-road.
We install exhaust systems that are tuned for Australian conditions, whether you’re chasing a quiet upgrade, turbo whistle, or something with a bit more bark. Diesel or petrol, touring rig or daily driver — we’ll fit the right system for your build.
The Process
Fitting an exhaust system isn’t just a bolt-on job — it takes proper alignment, clearance, and care. Here’s how we get it done at Oceans:

Initial Setup & Inspection
We assess your current exhaust system, turbo flange (if applicable), underbody layout, and clearance to recommend the right setup — whether it’s cat-back, DPF-back, or full turbo-back.

Exhaust Selection
We help you choose a system that suits your goals — quiet or aggressive tone, bolt-on systems, mild steel or stainless, and any emission compliance needs (like DPF or cat retention).

Removal of Old Exhaust
We remove the factory system carefully, checking for seized bolts or rusted hangers. Gaskets and seals are replaced as needed.

System Fitment
We install the new system with proper alignment, mounting hardware, and clearance from bodywork, driveshafts and suspension. Tailpipe positioning is checked for towing and canopy setups.

Sound & Flow Test
Once installed, we run the engine to test sound output, leaks, and ensure optimal flow. We also monitor exhaust temps (especially on diesels) for any abnormalities.

Final Inspection & Handover
We tighten all fittings, re-check clamps, and hand over the vehicle with a run-down of what’s been fitted and how it’ll perform. You’ll drive away with more torque, more tone, and better throttle response.
Available Modifications & Options
We supply and fit exhaust systems suited to all types of 4WD use:
- DPF-back or turbo-back exhausts
- 2.5-inch and 3-inch performance systems
- Mandrel-bent stainless steel or coated mild steel
- High-flow catalytic converters
- Muffler delete and resonator options
- Exhaust temp sensor integration (for tuned diesels)
- Tailpipe repositioning for tray backs or campers
Plus more. Get in touch to discuss your next modification.

4x4 Towing Transfers Available
If your exhaust has failed or your 4WD isn’t drivable, we offer towing transfers across Perth. We’ll pick up your vehicle, install the system, and get you back on the road — or track.
FAQs
Most turbo diesels benefit from a 3-inch system, but we’ll recommend the best size for your engine, mods, and driving style.
