The Process
Your wheels and tyres are where your vehicle meets the road — so getting them checked and maintained properly makes a big difference in safety, handling, and comfort. Here’s how we handle every wheel and tyre job at Oceans Automotive:
Initial Tyre & Wheel Inspection
We check tread depth, wear patterns, sidewalls and rims for damage or signs of imbalance. Tyre age and pressure are also assessed.
Tyre Fitting (if needed)
If your tyres are unsafe or worn out, we’ll recommend suitable replacements and fit them with care — ensuring the right load rating, size and speed index for your 4WD or daily driver.
Wheel Alignment
If your steering is off, tyres are wearing unevenly or you’ve hit a curb recently, we’ll perform a full wheel alignment to get things back to spec and prevent further wear.
Tyre Rotations
To maximise lifespan and maintain even tread, we rotate your tyres in the correct sequence — especially important for 4WDs or if you’re towing regularly.
Tyre Balancing
Each wheel is balanced using calibrated equipment to eliminate vibration, reduce wear, and keep the ride smooth — even at highway speeds.
Final Check & Road Test
We torque all wheel nuts to spec, confirm pressures, and (if needed) test drive to ensure the vehicle tracks straight and feels tight.
